This sumptuous Fedoskino box has been made by S. Khrustalyova. It shows the portrait of a woman dressed according to the fashion of the twenties of the bygone century. The woman's dress is decorated with mother-of-pearl inlay, and detailed with gold paint. Gold metal dust highlights some areas of the scene including the clock, the wall-papers, the floor and the table-cloth.
Compare to other Fedoskino boxes this one looks more modest kind of box, but attractive and rich looking in an "Art Nouveau" style.
The box's exterior is decorated in original manner. It imitates the coloring of turquoise, and decorated with bright silver ornaments.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The interior is covered with red lacquer. The lid isn't hinged, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name and the village of Fedoskino,
