M. Pichugina from the village of Fedoskino created this attractive box. It features the girl dressed in the Russian traditional costume feeding a bird. Her costume shines brightly as it is painted over mother-of-pearl inlay and silver metal powder. The branches of the birch are extended on the box's sides. The scene is painted against the mellow pink background; the mellow pink tone has been also chosen to cover the box's exterior. The interior is traditionally red.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the year of 2006.
