Description:

This attractive box called "The Cathedrals of the Moscow Kremlin. Moscow, the year of 2000." has been painted by Rinat Yunusov from the village of Fedoskino. In the foreground he has painted the picturesque view of the Assumption Cathedral (on the right) and the Church of the Deposition of the Robe (on the left), while in the background he has drawn the Archangel Cathedral. The scene is brilliantly painted in delicate light blue oils suitable for reproduction of a winter scene; gold metal paint highlights the cupolas of the cathedrals. Mother-of-pearl shines through the Assumption Cathedral.
The box's exterior is covered with beige paint; this beige area is studded with tiny and very thin light grey veins imitating the coloring of a stone. The interior is traditionally red.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene and the box sits flat. The work is signed with the artist's name, and the title.
