This interesting work has been painted by Ulyana Danchenko. It continues the artist's ‘butterfly theme', and features the artist's fantasy on the theme how a butterfly would look like if she were a beautiful woman. She imagines her as a woman with two wings on her back who dances in the skies accompanied by multicolored butterflies. The scene is painted against the light grey background that shimmers with silver undertone; light grey tone of oils mixed with silver powder has been also chosen to cover the rest part of the box's exterior. On the box's exterior bottom the artist continues to paint butterflies; here she has also written her name, Fedoskino, and the title (“Dance of a Butterfly”).
The box is constructed from paper-mache. It has a hinge from the left of the scene, and rests on a flat bottom.
