This big oval box continues Marina Khasanova's "Dwarf Theme". Marina is rewarded with many honorary diplomas and prizes. Her artworks are exhibited in the Museum of Fedoskino factory.
Various shades of green oils suitable for depiction of the green meadow predominate here. Gold paint is used to enhance some details throughout the scene such as the ladder, the rope, the plants and the hat of one of the depicted dwarves.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, the title and the year of 2008.
