This originally shaped small box is a wonderful creation of gifted Artist Yuliya Danilina. It shows the allegory of September or early Autumn. The artist imagines Autumn as a beautiful young girl. The girl is painted around leaves of different trees--we can see the oak tree leaves, ash-berry tree and, of course, beautiful maple leaves. Lots of red, orange and gold colors are mixed in this wonderful time of the fall of the leaves.
The palette chosen for this scene contains red, gold and orange tones. The details are enhanced with lustrous gold paint. The edges of the lid are decorated with elegant gold ornament . The box's sides are decorated with golden leaves too. The box's interior is covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The work is signed with the name of the artist, the title (“September”) and the year of 2006.
