This box drawn by Marina Rogatova shows that these experiments within the boundaries of the Fedoskino lacquer miniature may be successful.
The work entitled “The Dream of an Artist” is created in the surrealistic style. It reflects the author's speculations on the theme of inner life and psychology of an artist who has a magical ability of creative thinking. A truly interesting box.
The box is made of paper-mache. The hinge is placed to the left of the composition and the box rests flat. Signed with the Artist name and the year inside the lid.
