St. Petersburg occupies the first place in Russia and one of the leading places in the world for the number of bridges. Nowadays in St. Petersburg there are more than 300 bridges, and more than 20 of them are drawbridges.The bridges of St. Petersburg have become an integral part of the city. Those who walked along St. Petersburg embankments and admired the beauty of drawn bridges are usually charmed with the individuality of Northern Venice.
The scene of this box is painted in different shades of blue and gray. These tones correspond perfectly to the atmosphere of the city. The architecture, the sky and the rippled surface of the river are highlighted with brilliant aluminum powder. Mother-of-pearl is inlaid in the sky and in the water on a right hand side to create a very beautiful visual effect.
The composition is framed with a gold ribbon cut out of gold metal foil.
