The leading Fedoskino artist Sergey Kozlov painted this interesting work. Its exterior is covered with white oils. The artist uses this white area for painting boundless snowy expanses of Russian countryside. The rest part of the composition: trees, bushes and the flock of birds flying over the frozen ground, is painted in various shades of blue. The combination of white and blue tones is successful, and appealing to the eye.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed and dated (2006) by the artist.
