This spectacular lacquered box was painted by one of the leading Fedoskino artists, Roman Tyuvaev. The box imitate a frog and is made of papier-mache, and its exterior is decorated with three-dimensional elements. The work is painted exquisitely all around and inside out!!!
On the top of the box the artist painted a man , who is riding this huge magic frog as a horse. On the box's exterior is decorated with golden and silver foils. On the bottom of the frog we can see 4 legs that were constructed and painted by the artist.

The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the back of the frog. The work is signed with the artist's name, and the year of 2009.
