This charming box has been painted by talented Fedoskino artist Yelena Aldoshkina. It shows a pretty girl pwith a diadem of wild flowers. A girl is sit within all this natural beauty and butterflies are flying all around. On the back of the composition we can see a small village's Church and a also a small lake and the blue skies...
The scene is painted in green and blue tones of oils. The painting is bordered with a rich golden line, while another golden line wrap around the box's sides. The box's exterior is covered with black lacquer and its interior is traditionally red.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the year of 2009 at the bottom of the scene.
