This stylish box is a creation of Vladimir Rogatov. The box's exterior (its front and rear sides) is richly decorated with a complex ornamental scan pattern. Hair-thin gold, wavy threads (cut out of gold metal sheets) come out like rays from a single point. The golden threads reflect the sunlight and shine brightly; their wavy structure gives a three-dimensional effect of to a single pattern. A wide grey band accompanied by two thin lines painted in light grey oils run along the box's left and right sides as well as along the lid's top.
The box is constructed from high-grade papier-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. The lid is hinged, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name.
