Larisa Olisova from the village of Fedoskino is the talented artist responsible for this beautiful and sensitively painted portrait of a boy with the basket of flowers. The boy have been strolling in the fields and meadows for all day long, and now he returns home with the big basket filled with wild flowers. He holds in his hand a flower of dandelion and that is why the work is called "The Boy-Dandelion".
The portrait is framed with a simple gold pattern. The box's exterior imitates the color of a grey stone. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the portrait, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the title.
