This alluring box is a creation of Taisiya Danchenko. The work is called “Life is a Game”, and shows a beautiful young lady wearing a mask. Her elegant clothes and the gorgeous feathered hat are decorated with gold, silver, green and violet metal and glass beads glued to the box's exterior manually. In the background the artist depicts the architecture of Venice. On the box's exterior bottom the artist has painted an additional composition that depicts the lady's fan fallen out of the lady's hand on the pavement. Both compositions are painted in bright oils and enhanced with gold powder. The box's exterior is covered with cream lacquer while the interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The box's sides are adorned with tiny gold flowers. On the lid's interior a square piece of mother-of-pearl is glued on which the artist has written her personal emblem that consists of initial letters of her name and surname - T.D. On the box's exterior bottom the artist has written the title, her name and the village of Fedoskino.
