This beautiful box was created by talented Fedoskino artist Tamara Volodina. It shows a scene from a life of fantasy created charters-elves and a dew girl.A dew Girl is helping an elf to get some morning dew from a flower.
There is a small piece of mother-of-pearl inlayed into a costume of a dew Girl. The costumes of a girl and elves are detailed with gold paint.
The box's exterior is creamy gray, while the interior is traditionally red. On the box's sides the artist continues to paint the flowers ,flower herbs and ladybirds.Each of the ladybirds depicted here are crafted three-dimensionally! The box rests on four small legs.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene. The work is signed with the artist's name, the year of 2010 and the village of Fedoskino.
