Talented Fedoskino artist Liliana Slaeva is the author of this beautiful box. The work is called "Tenderness", and shows a couple that is fall in love. These two figures are radiates the tenderness and the fluids of love. A couple is dressed in Russian costumes of the 19th Century. A girl is wearing Sarafan and the guy is wearing Kaftan. Over their heads we can see branches with golden leaves. A girl and a young man are so close to each other so we can tell that just in a moment they will kiss.A girl is putting on the head of a young man a wreath of field flowers.
The scene is painted in light brown oils against the cream background. Cream tone has been also chosen to cover the box's exterior while the interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The box's sides and the bottom are also decorated with a golden dust mix.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, the year of 2011 and the village of Fedoskino.
