Description:

Yuriy Aldoshkin of Fedoskino is an exceptional talent behind this intricate beauty. It is one of the more elaborate architectural/landscape pieces that any collector will come across. Aldoshkin has fine tuned his skill in such a way that the mere thought of Fedoskino realism brings to mind Aldoshkin's name.
The box shows a beautiful view of the Church in the village of Fedoskino, located only 35 km from Moscow, where the most talented Fedsokino artists are resides. The Church is located to the right of the road in about half of the kilometer from the entrance of the village. Small village houses are covered with the white snow.
Aldoshkin uses here a palette that implements very cool tones throughout the scene. He sets the scene during winter to match the colors in the architecture, which brings out the quiet and spiritual atmosphere of the Church. Each angle is precise that helps provide an accurate portrayal of the perspectives in the scene. The lines are delicately configured with a manipulation of paint that gives this painting a photo-like quality. The trees to the right side of the composition are covered with the light of a setting sun...What a Master has painted this composition!!!
The scene is framed with a gold band, another gold band can be found wrapping around the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, and the title Fedoskino.
