This interesting box is a creation of family duet-Svetlana and Konstantin Komogorovs. In this work the artists have painted a fantasy composition of flying ship.
The composition is painted in bright oils. The costume of the girl shines brightly being painted over gold metal leaf. Gold metal paint is used to depict the trees and plants in the foreground.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior of the base and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the top of the scene, and rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's names, Fedoskino and the title of the work (" Flying Ship ").
