This interesting box is a creation of family duet-Svetlana and Konstantin Komogorovs. In this work the artists have painted a fantasy composition of a Flying Carpet.
The composition is painted in bright oils. The costume of the girl is painted in white bright color. Gold metal paint is used to depict the trees and plants in the foreground.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Golden paint with black vein lines covers the exterior of the base and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the top of the scene, and rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's names, Fedoskino and the title of the work ("The Flying Carpet").
