This interesting box is a creation of talented Komogorovs family-Svetlana and Konstantin. The work is called the House of Dolls.
The composition is painted in bright oils. Gold metal paint is used to decorate the box's exterior with lustrous, wide bands running along the box's sides.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the bottom of the scene, and rests flat. The work is signed with the artists names and the title of the work ("The House of Dolls").
