This small attractive box has been painted by talented Fedoskino artist Danilina Yulya.
By mixing various tones of gray oils at the background, the artist creates an illusion that the Snowmaiden stands in the mist of spinning snowflakes, and looks at the viewer with a kind, angelic smile.
The box's exterior is light gray, while its interior is traditionally red. The box's sides are adorned with white snowflakes.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged at the top of the composition, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, the year of 2007 and the title Snowmaiden.
