Talented Lubov Krasnoslobodtseva from the village of Fedoskino is the author of this brilliant work. On this box she has painted the portrait of a beautiful girl. The artist has masterfully expressed romantic nature of the depicted girl and charm of her youth!
The portrait is painted in oils over silver powder that creates a sparkle of the girl's dress. The scene framed with a gold line; another gold line decorates the edges of the lid. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests flat.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The work is signed with the artist's name.
