This beautiful box is continuing a series of little girls painted by talented Fedoskino artist Tamara Volodina. This box shows a scene from a real life. Two good looking girls are stand under the tall sunflowers.One of them has a nestling in her hand, the other one is having an umbrella.
There is a small piece of mother-of-pearl inlayed into a costume of one of the Girls.
The box's exterior is creamy gray, while the interior is traditionally red. On the box's sides the artist continues to paint sunflowers and flower herbs. The box rests on a flat bottom.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene. The work is signed with the artist's name, the year of 2011 and the village of Fedoskino.
