This interesting box was painted by Fedoskino artist Vladimir Rogatov.
The work features several old, might be the first horse carriages.
The box is painted in mono-chromic style. Gold paint is used to headlight the carriages and making the luminous affect from the Bolshoi Theater. On the sides of the box we also can find different carriages.
The box exterior is covered with a black lacquer. The box's interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. It has a hinge at the top of the scene, and rests on a flat bottom. The box is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and dated.
