This large box was painted by a leading Fedoskino artist Vladimir Rogatov and shows hunting scenes. On the main view we can see how two hunters are hunt the bear. On the sides we can see several scenes of hunt with dogs.
The box is painted in mono-chromic style. A silver paint is used to detail the characters' costumes and the details.
The box exterior is covered with a black lacquer. The box's interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. It has a hinge at the top of the scenes, and rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name and a date.
