Svetlana Yevdokimova-Belovodova from the village of Fedoskino created this strikingly beautiful paper-mache box. The work is called "A walk with a White Unicorn" and shows a pretty lady with a Unicorn. The scene is painted in light tones of oils. A large piece of mother-of-pearl is set into the area of the head of the Unicorn and the dress of the lady. The costume of the lady is decorated with silver paint and also crystal beads.
The exterior of the box is covered with a gray lacquer studded with almost invisible silver veins.
The piece is made out of papier-mache. The interior of the box is covered with red lacquer and this red lacquered area is studded with silver veins. The work signed with the artist's name, the year of 2010, Fedoskino and the title on the lid's interior.
