The box is richly decorated. The exterior is decorated with silver scan patterns composed of silver metal leaves and are arranged in hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged to the left, and the box rests on four small legs. The box is signed in white oils above the composition-the artist has written his name and the title "Alice in Wonderland".
