This beautiful large five-sided casket was painted by Fedoskino artist Vladimir Rogatov.
The work features the views of several old water and wind mills.
The scene is painted in mono-chromic style, using white and brown colors.
The box exterior (bottom) is covered with a black lacquer. The box's interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. It has a hinge at the top of the scene, and rests on four legs. The box is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and dated.
