Talented Fedoskino artist Liliana Slaeva is the author of this charming composition. The scene shows two young girls at the village fence.their faces are turned to us and feels like they just finished the conversation with us.
White tone has been also chosen to cover the box's exterior while the interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, the year of 2012 and the village of Fedoskino in brown oils.
