Taisiya Danchenko is the author of this beautiful box painted on New Year's theme. It shows Santa who just put some gifts to kids, but don't to make any noise and want to leave the house. On the box's reverse side the artist has signed Happy New Year framed in ornament and several Christmas gifts. Each composition is framed with a gold ornament.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Blue lacquer mixed with gold powder is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the title ("Happy New Year!").
