Talented Fedoskino artist Shavirin Boris is a creator of this charming box. It features a portrait of a beautiful lady stayed in front of a window, covered with frozen ornaments.
The scene is painted in blue oils, and face of a lady in light brown oils.
The box exterior imitates the coloring of a brown marble (tiny dark brown veins are scattered against the black background). The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left from the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed in silver paints with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the year of 2013.
