This composition showing the card reading gathering is a creation of talented Artist Ivanov Alexander from the village of Fedoskino.
We can see five girls sit at the table, the one has the cards the rest of them are looking at her. In the right upper corner we can see a small icon. The girls are dressed as in 18th-19th centuries in Russia, three of them are wearing the kokoshnik -Russian female head wear.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the top of the box, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title "The Fortune Telling" , the year of 2011 and the village of Fedoskino.
