The well-known talented Fedoskino artist Alexey Chirkov is continuing the series of the works depicting the hunting scenes. This is another work from this series,it shows a Hunter with the dog on a boat.
The scene is masterfully drawn -including a Hunter,a dog ,natural landscape scene on the background and a hawk with a prey! The painting is done with a precise quality and looks photo-like!Especially a hunter and a dog. Brilliance and luster comes from pieces of mother-of-pearl that shine brightly with glimmering blue, green and violet tones in the upper part of this box.
Wide gold band is framed the composition, as well as another wide gold line is decorated the sides of the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged to the left of the composition, and the box rests on a platform, which looks like a thin line. It goes all around the base of the bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, title and the year of 2013.
