The work is called "A sign" and this sign is hidden in the skies over the church and goes as a perspective. If we will take a "plane" look -we will see only white skies, but as on a perspective --we can see a lake, white forest and other things...
The edge of a lid is decotrated with intricate gold ornament.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Its exterior and interior are covered with black lacquer while interior is painted with dark blue paint. It has a hinge from the top of the composition and rests on four small round legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, 2014 and the village of Fedoskino at the bottom of the scene.
