This elegant large box has been painted by a prominent Fedoskino artist Tatyana Fedorova. The artist is charmed with a fragile beauty of the flowers, insects and birds. Here we can see her intricate painting black grouses against the delicate light background.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Its exterior is of a delicate blue tone while its interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2014.
