This beautiful portrait of the russian lady from town of Oreol district has been painted by the talented Fedoskino artist Larisa Olisova. The boyarynya has worn a rich dress.
Various shades of brown oils are used to paint the boyarynya while the background is drawn in light blue tones.
The box's exterior is of beautiful light blue tone, and covered with very thin silver veins to imitate a stone color. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge has been fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on the flat bottom. Olisova has written her name, the title ("Russian lady from the Oreol district"), and Fedoskino at the bottom of the scene.
