The composition is painted very intricate and decorated with a lot of colorful and golden details. Peaceful birds are flying on the backstages. Also on the backstage we can see a roofs and coupalas of the churches of a small town. And recognizable feature of most of the paintings of Sergey-the tree. The box's exterior sides are masterfully decorated with an ornament painted in gold. Looks perfect on the contrasting to the black color!
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The exterior of the box is painted with black lacquer while the interior is completed with dark red lacquer. A hinge is fastened to the top of the composition and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the name of the artist and the village of Fedoskino.
