Well-known Fedoskino artist Svetlana Yevdokimova-Belovodova created this original box. The work is called "Malachite...On a visit of Mountain King" and shows us a portrait of beautiful lady. With this work the artist continued the series of Lady-stones.
The artist has used real malachite stones as incrustations to make a 3D affect. The box's exterior is covered with dark green oils mixed with aluminum powder; the interior is traditionally red and has aluminum painting as an additional decoration.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on four malachite stones. Signed with the name of the artist, the title, the village of Fedoskino, and the year of 2014 on the box base's exterior in white paints.
