This beautiful painting of winter amusement was painted by Dmitriy Bebikhov of Fedoskino. Here we can see several children sledging around carousel.
The painting is framed with a thin gold line. Two parallel gold lines wrap around the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the top of the painting, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, and the year of 2012.
