This detailed composition is a creation of Yevgeniy Potekhin from the village of Fedoskino. It shows us a hunter on a horse at the edge of the forest and young girl that came out the forst with a basket full on berries and mushrooms. The scene is painted in the realistic style using various shades of green oils.
Each side of the box contains picturesque landscape scene.
The box is constructed out of high-quality paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box and red lacquer is used to paint the interior of the box.
The lid is hinged from the top of the composition, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed by the artist.
