This attractive box was painted by talented artist Mochalova Marie from the village of Fedoskino. Masha Mochalova is a daughter of talented Fedoskino artists Nikolay Zotov and Moiseeva Elena, who is for this moment the chief Artist of Fedoskino Factory.
The painting is coming from the lid of the box to their sides. Black lacquer is painted the exterior , while red lacquer completes the interior of the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests flat.
