This gorgeous box of Russian lacquered miniature artistry has been created by talented artist Davydova Galina of Fedoskino.
On the box's lid the artist has painted stormy marine scene. The waves are very high and strong. One of the ships might be landed very soon or need help, or it will be damaged...
The box's exterior is painted blue. The composition is framed with a gold line and two parallel lines are decorated the box's sides.
The box's interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The box is made out of paper-mache. The box's lid is hinged from the top of the scene and rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name and Fedoskino.
