The background of the box is painted in gray and brown tones; the costume of the lady-dancer is snow-white. Looking at the box you having the impression, that the dancer is weightless! The box is constructed from paper-mache. White lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on a wavy platform with five legs. The box is signed with the village of Fedoskino, year (2017) and the name of the artist.
