This interesting work has been created by well-known artist, Mochalova Marie, from the village of Fedoskino. This installation is based on a mother-of-pearl shell. Marie is a daughter of Nikolay Zotov, Fedoskino Master, who is know for his unique shaped boxes.
The composition shows a flight of a duck over the Russian country side. We can see a nice river and beautiful wooden houses on the bank of it. Because of the painting is done on a mother-of-pearl shell, this glowing effect is mystical.
To paint this work the artist has used various shades of blue and brown oils.
The artist makes fence look parts to make the installation stand.
