Description: Serene elegance. Relaxing atmospheric pleasures. Divine application. This gorgeous piece of authentic Russian artistry was created by well-established Fedoskino Master, Sergey Kozlov. He has mastered the ability to create breath-taking landscapes that appeal to each and every aspect of our senses. Memorable art work that delivers us to location.
The work is called "Flying over Motherland", and features the couple of wild ducks flying over the picturesque expanses of Russian countryside. A scene like this, real or on an artist's canvas, always has a calming effect on the soul.
It is getting cold on the territory of Russia. Fall. Time to move to the south. One or two weeks and the water will freeze...Ducks are collectining in shoal and flying away.
The scene is painted in different shades of green and blue. There is infinite texture in the landscape. The structure of the trees is highly elaborate. There is a piece of mother-of-pearl inlayed in the skies.
The painting is framed with a thin golden line. The box's sides are RICHLY decorated with a silver scan pattern (composed of scrolls hand punched from silver metal sheets, and then glued to the box manually).
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while deep red lacquer completes the interior of the box. A hinge is fastened to the top of the composition, and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist name, village of Fedoskino and dated (2019) at the bottom of the composition.
