This attractive box called "Apple trees in bloom" has been painted by a talented Fedoskino artist Tamara Volodina. Painted in various shades of gray oils, it shows a little girl who is enjoying to be around the blooming flowers of the apple tree. Three bees are hovering around the girl and pollinating the flowers.
Each of the ladybugs depicted on a box are crafted three-dimensionally! They are coming out from the surface of the box! Gold paint is used to detail the costume and shoes of the character and the flowers.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The box's exterior is covered with creamy gray lacquer while red lacquer completes the interior of the work.
The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a small platform. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, the title "Apple trees in bloom", and the year of 2019 on the interior of the base of the box.
