Fedoskino Master Pichugina Margarita has painted this peaceful composition!
The painting is showing a winter forest. Some animals are sleeping, and some are not. On the front we can see a Big Brown Bear, who went into hibernation. On the right, a badger is not sleeping in his hole, but readng.
The winter Forest is full of mysterious trees, some of them has faces! On the background we can see a Fox, running Bunny, flying Owl. And there are several village houses covered with snow to the right.
The scene is framed with gold line.Two parallel gold lines are decorated the sides of the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the work while red lacquer completes its interior. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on four legs.
The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2019.
The artist is also has signed the words from a children's song: "It's quiet around, only the badger is not sleeping".
