This oval box is a creation of Klyucharov from the village of Fedoskino. It depicts picturesque banks of the mountain river covered with dense vegetation. High mountains can be seen in the blue hazy distance. The composition is filled with fresh air, sunlight and merry purl of the mountain river. The depicted scene is as real as if you looked it at a photograph.
Painting extends on the box's sides where the artist continues to paint green fresh vegetation. To reflect the beauty of wild nature Klyucharov uses a wide spectrum of colors dominated by greens, grays and blues. In the foreground there is a bumblebee sitting on the big white flower that is why the work is called "Landscape with a Bumblebee".
The box is constructed from quality paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior and red lacquer to paint the interior of the box. The box is hinged from the top of the scene, and rests on a flat bottom. It is signed with the artist's name, the title, the village of Fedoskino and the year of 2006.
