Kholuy artist Adrey Kharchev painted this beautiful view of the Moscow Kremlin and Christ the Savior Cathedral.
The light blue tones are used to paint the snow covered areas while reds and greens are used to paint the architecture. Gold paint helps to create a sparkle of the cupolas and some other elements.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The exterior is decorated with intricate gold patterns.
