Talented artist from the village of Kholui has painted this attractive glass-holder shaped box.
Blue, green, red and brown tones are dominated here. Gnomes are having a rest, sit and laying on the grass. Beautiful flowers and grass are surround them, a few bees are flying around.
The box's exterior is covered with black lacquer. Its interior is painted red.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests flat. The work is not signed.
